Planning a Trip to the Sunshine State?

There are lots of amazing parts of Florida to visit, but our favorite place to go is Orlando! We can fly directly from Buffalo to MCO & be in sunny Florida in less than 3 hours. With so many things to do in Orlando, we try to come at least a couple of times a year.

This time we stayed at The Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive. We were so spoiled with a suite that had a full table, living room, desk, kitchenette with a mini-fridge, half bath, king-size bed with master bath, and an adjoining room for the kids with two queen beds & another full bathroom! Our room was nothing compared to the gorgeous view we had from our balcony. We could see BOTH pools that we enjoyed very much. There is also a Starbucks & WaWa Gas Station in the connected parking lot.

It was so nice to sit out at the pool, order some food from the Gatorland restaurant, and have some fruity blended drinks. As you can see, my kids were living their best life! A perfect day in Florida having fun in the sun! And we didn't even have to leave the hotel.

If you prefer to go off-site and explore there are so many options! Plenty of great places to eat, shop and theme park attractions close by! The Wyndham also offers complimentary shuttles to many local attractions including, Universal Studios Orlando! Less than 5 minutes away is Icon Park if you want to take a ride on the Ferris Wheel, have something to eat, or enjoy the aquarium.

After a great day of relaxing by the pool, we decided to order some pizza from the on-site restaurant, Gatorland, and had it delivered right to our room! So convenient. Especially with kids who needed an early bedtime after hours of fun at the pools!

We also loved being able to have the kids in their own space for an early night & still be able to order some food and drinks for Jacob and me to enjoy later that evening. I still can't get over how BIG the living space was. Having a full-size table for us all to sit down and eat at was such a treat! Thanks for spoiling us, Wyndham!
